Good, cheap paddling gloves - Spandex Nitrile coated gloves by Performance.

I've been using these gloves for the past dragonboat season and like them, so I got more...

Spandex Nitrile coated gloves by Performance.

Available at Home Depot for the price of $5.99 US, these gloves provide a good tactile feel on the paddle. Sizing is rough, I had to clip the fingers on my first pair, but they work well. You may need to try on a few pair to get the best fit. They are not consistently sized.

The spandex offers no insulation, but unlike other Nitrile gloves the spandex also does not soak up water and become a heat drain. They work well into the upper 40˚ range, and with a polypro liner work well into the 30˚s They are NOT warm like neoprene gloves, but they are more durable! and with the liner they provide ample warmth for  the Pacific Northwest mild winters.
